A major cover refresh for Recess Heroes Face the Moon Fumes, my middle-grade science fiction adventure chapter book with adorable art from original illustrator Rima Salloum, is in the works for release in the near future. I like that it shows more action than the previous cover — and shows Brett, the newest Recess Hero, literally facing a Moon Fume. I do miss all the guys being on the front, but at least the whole team is on the back cover.
In other exciting news, the book was translated into Spanish by Hernán Echavarría. The Spanish version, Los Héroes
del Recreo contra los gases de la Luna, will be available soon from Brighten Press.
Both the Spanish edition, Los Héroes del Recreo contra los gases de la Luna, and the existing English version of Recess Heroes Face the Moon Fumes with the new cover will be available in the next month or so from Brighten Press.
